Over $30 million in property value inspected in 2023
A home inspection is a limited, non-invasive examination of the condition of a home, often in connection with the sale of that home. The Home Inspection is expected to bring more transparency not only to buyers, but to the seller as well. At Infinity, we are committed to providing value to our customers with each inspection.
A Wood Destroying Insect Inspection is conducted to determine whether there are active wood destroying insects such as - termites, carpenter bees, carpenter ants, and powder post beetles. Insects can cause cosmetic and structural damage to homes. Your WDI Inspection will include a report to alert you to any issues found.
Radon is the number one cause of lung cancer among non-smokers, according to EPA estimates. Overall, radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer. Radon is responsible for about 21,000 lung cancer deaths every year. We recommend a Radon Test with your Home Inspection, but testing can also be done as a stand-alone inspection, whether you are the buyer or the seller.
Houses are being built faster than ever, from building site to finished home in as little as 6-8 weeks. This makes it very important for “New Build” buyers to have the quality of the work inspected after completion, in stages as the house is being built. Meeting the minimum standards does not ensure quality, because meeting “Code” does not necessarily ensure quality of the finished product.
Air sampling tests the concentration of mold spores in your home's air. Samples are taken from the air and are then sent to a lab for analysis. Air tests can tell you if you have a mold problem even if you cannot see the mold growth.
A sewer scope inspection uses a video attached to a snake-like cable to examine the home's sewer line (Sewer Lateral). This privately-owned pipeline leads from your home to the publicly owned sewer main or septic tank. Sewer scope inspection can reveal damage to the pipes, blockages, and other problems.
In the United States, households can use an average of around 300 gallons of water in a 24 hour period. We used water for cleaning, cooking, and drinking, so when a home's water is supplied by well it's important to insure it is safe! With a Well Water Test, you can discover if your home’s water is free from contamination by collecting a sample for lab analysis.
Septic System/Leach Field Inspections are a vital step in making sure your system is operating properly. Since these wastewater systems are located underground, homebuyers may overlook having a septic inspection. Routine inspections should be done every 1 – 3 years for as long as you own your home.
Although asbestos and lead have been banned in all construction in North America for nearly 30 years, older homes can still contain these harmful substances. By collecting a sample for lab analysis, results can confirm areas of possible lead & asbestos contamination.
This includes filters, pumps, heaters, plumbing, and any other electrical components involved in the pool's functioning. The goal of a professional inspector is to determine what issues, if any, are affecting the pool.
